Some Stuff I Wrote and Some Stuff I Didn't (2011) H. Morris Williams
                      PRINCIPALS
Fort White High School has always had great principals.
Some of them have returned here today for this occasion.
Some did a great job here and moved on to greater
                     responsibilities elsewhere.
                         • Robbins Woodell, Buford Galloway, and Albert Rumph
                             all became school superintendents.
                         • E.H. (Buddy) Bedenbaugh became Dean of the College
of Education at the University of Southern Mississippi.
                         • Ottis Houston became Assistant Superintendent and
Director of Operations for this school system.
                         • Eldridge Collins became a top official at the Department
                             of Education in Tallahassee.
                         • Richard Kahlich became Director of Adult and
Community Education and Director of Vocational
                             Education.
                         • Norman Steadman became and still is the Dean of all
                             Columbia County Principals and
Earl Weldon became President of Seminole County
                     College.
And all got their start as principal of Ft. White High School.
Many felt their days here were the happiest of their
                     professional lives.
