When I realize by the look in your eyes
That you cannot remember my name
It consoles me somewhat for I’m on the same spot
And the problem we have is the same.
            Help Wanted
            Double, double, toil and trouble!
            Would some witch benevolent,
If such there be, with good intent
Might whisper in my ear and tell
            Some incantation or magic spell
To make your slow heart boil and bubble.
Might lend me a potion to make you care.
Mix a little nectar from a woodbine bell
With pulverized pearl from a nautilus shell
Add a little stardust and shake it up well.
            Scent it with a honeysuckle, salt it with the sea;
Add a little bark from a trysting tree,
Wrap it up in moonlight and deliver it to me.
And if such a potion some witch would deliver
I’d measure the dosage with never a quiver.
I’d watch while you drank it and not ever shiver.
Oh, Abracadabra! I wish I knew
Some deep dark magic to get me you.
