     Leader of Tomorrow
                                                                                        This year the General Mills Leader
                                                                                      of Tomorrow award was  presented
                                                                                      to Kathy Gilmer. Kathy won this
                                                                                      honor by competing with  other
                                                                                      Seniors here at Columbia High in an
                                                                                      attitude and written knowledge test
                                                                                      on  December 7, 1976. She has
                                                                                      received  a certificate from General
                                                                                      Mills and becomes eligible for state
                                                                                      and  national honors.
                                                                                        The State Family  Leader of
                                                                                      Tomorrow, to be  chosen through
                                                                                      judging centered on performance in
                                                                                      the December 7 test, will  receive a
                                                                                      $1 ,500  college scholarship. The
                                                                                      second-ranking  participant in the
                                                                                      state will  receive a $500 grant.
