Many clubs and organizations of-
   fered students chances to develop
their talents. While some played instru-
ments in the band and others sang in
chorus, still others wrote for the school
   newspaper or FHA projects, raised
livestock for FFA, or developed math
   skills in Delta Math Club.
Other clubs, such as Pep Club and
   FCA, supported athletic programs. Na-
   tional Fine Arts members attended
   plays, balls, and museums. National
   Junior Honor Society members worked
with Special Olympics and the Dream
   Machine. The Student Council also
worked with the Dream Machine and
decorated the LCMS float for the CHS
   homecoming parade. Baseball Card
Collectors Club offered a chance to
exchange baseball cards and learn the
   value of organizing collections, and
Chess Club gave players a chance to
   sharpen skills.
