" ZZZZZZZ . wake me up when it's time for lunch!!" Like
many students, Della North caught a few extra hours of
sleep during vacation.

On July 15, 1989, Seniors Melissa Hender-
son and Tamra Pope fulfilled a long time
dream. They attended a celebrity softball
game in Greenville, South Carolina. At the
game they had the opportunity to meet
several of their favorite stars from the
soap opera "Days of Our Lives." Many
girls would love to be in Tamra's shoes as
she receives a special kiss from Stephen
Nichols, AKA Steve "Patch" Johnson on
the soap.

"Show him your best moves, Melissa!" At
an exclusive dinner party after the game,
Melissa dances with Stephen Nichols. The
party gave the girls a chance to talk and
dance with cast members.
