April, Natasha, Celine, and Josh Clary, come out here in the hall.
"I also need Jessica, Aundi, N1chole B , David Kelley •
He laughed and his stomach shook like a bowl full of jelly
He called, Maria, Lauren Mehl, and then he called Carrie
and promised them a Christmas that was sure to be merry.
Because they'd be on Santa's sleigh and fly over the land
As the guest performers in the Christmas Eve band.
Then Jessica C , Anna, and Shonna stood up before us
Announcing they were part of the Christmas Eve chorus.
Casie opened a gift-a volleyball, all green and red.
Alisha served an aoe that bounced off Coach Skinner's head
As Mrs. Everrers class analyzed sentences from Christmas cartoons
Leslie and Pamela were called to their mother's rooms
Ankur kept talking, up to his old tricks
'Till Mrs. McElhaney announced Santa was on bus D-26.
Out through the doors fled Ken, Maurice, Josh Lick, and Jay B
Heather Ritcnie yelled "Everybody, please wait for me!"
Mrs Keen stopped Shaun and Ted, saY109, "That's not very nice.
You're running on campus and you II pay the price •
With an experiment, Mrs. Florence helped Rebecca, Dane, and Chad Moore,
And the whole thing exploded as they rushed out the door.
To the bus zoomed Brittany and Yvette with speed,
Tripping DonnaS. and Gerry in their hasty stampede.
Santa spoke to no one from the front of the bus,
But Denatra said, ·santa, please listen to us •
Contessa wants a typewriter for Student Counc11 notes,
She's already campaigning for next year's votes.
Stacey wants some books so she can Read-out.
Heather said, "Bring me another Dalmatian and I won't pout.•
Bethany wants to sing "Old McDonald" for you,
Saying "art-art, oink-oink, meow-meow and moo-moo•
(If you don't get it and you think Bethany won't sing,
Don't worry about it··it's a 6th period thing.)
Lauren A. spoke to Santa, quiet as a mouse,
"Could we please make a stop at Valene's house?"
Patricia and Summer agreed in voices sublime,
"She's been sick--we've not seen her in such a long time •
Santa gave Sugar Bowl tickets to Alexis with pnde,
Saying, "You must sit with your family on the U of F side. •
Santa told Whitney and Chris Tyre not to feel blue,
"I'll bring you new shorts, and these will til you •
He offered Stephanie B and Casey C. a prize··
"I'll need some new elves, and you're just the right size!"
Rudolph wandered off, boy was his timing bad,
But he'd followed AJ and Jordon, knowing there was fun to be had.
So Justin, Stephanie, and Alisha came to lead through the fog,
But rather than a gallop, canter, or trot they started to clog
Santa said "Stephen Ward, better watch out what you do.
One more word and I'll bring only switches for you!"
Santa said "we'll all make it, Samantha, so don't be upset,
But there's no room for Susan's siblings or Josh Murphy's pets.·
Amelia jumped up and down, saying "I don't believe what I see,
That just one bus is holding all of Team D."
The teachers stood starring by the circular drive
Wondering if the students would really survive
But they waved and smiled, for they had it made··
Two whole weeks with no students and no papers to gradel
